Trip to Boston: Travel Essentials Part #2

In Featured Image: I’m rocking my new Indique Virgin Hair Extensions, Bounce Coil Curl and Organic Curl, creation in Boston and it’s very low maintenance.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Boston and it is a very beautiful city. There was a bit of rain, some sunshine, and fun times like team building activities with my co workers and dining on the Spirit of Boston. Although I was only her for a short amount of time,  I absolutely would come back to the ivy looking city and would have to bring AJ with me. Now I have to fill you in on the travel essentials I took with me.

  •  Coconut Good soap

I picked this soap up when I was browsing in whole foods and deiced to give it a try. It’s a coconut soap with natural ingredients and it was only $2.50 so I couldn’t pass it up. The scent is delicious, has a rich lather without using to much of the soap, and gave my skin a clean feel. I can also tell the soap will last a few weeks because I feel like its larger than your average bar soap.

  • Loreal Advance Suncare Silky Sheer Lotion SPF 30

This is a great light weight daily sun protectant and I used it under my makeup. The travel lotion came with the tinted Loreal Advance Suncare Silky Sheer BB Face Lotion that was on clearance at Target for no more than $5! The silky sheer lotion doesn’t clog pores and doesn’t have an oily residue which is great for layering other products. I am not sold on the smell of it but that’s one minor down fail and the mini size is travel friendly.

  • Sebamed Liquid Face & Body Wash

I like Sebamed products because they are great for all skin types and has a neutral pH of 4.5 which is perfect for skin. You can use it for face and body but I mainly used it to cleanse my face in the mornings. It has vitamins and allantoin, a lite fresh scent and tons of foam action so a little goes a long way.

  • Durros & Langel Sandalwood Lavander Toner

Since I fist learned about this soap shop in Philly I purchased this toner and loved since. It moisturizes, tones and firms the skin. I have even seen a huge decrease in my skin’s oil production since I’ve been using it which is a plus for my t-zone!

  • Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion

I haven’t used many of Aveeno’s products but the daily moisturizing lotion works well for me to keep my skin moist and supple.

  • Frutique Beauty By Nature Apple Night Restore Creme

Now I never heard of this brand before but it was worth the bargain for $6.49 at Sally Beauty supply store. It’s a restore night cream with apple ingredients that contains retinol, a form of vitamin A, which will keep skin firm. It also gives my face a nice glow (with or without makeup) and smooths it.

  • Neutrogena Make up remover wipes

The Neutrogena make remover wipes are a staple when I run out of the actual eye make up remover in the liquid form. It leaves my skin moist and soft so I only follow up with warm water afterward (this is just my preference) and follow up with my toner. The wipes get the job done and are more convenient when traveling.

  • Shea Moisture Lavender & Wild Orchid Body Butter

It feels like a real treat when I used the Shea Moisture body butter after showering. The scent is soothing and the lavender calms your senses down in preparation to go to sleep. I would prefer to use it more so in the cooler season because the butter is a bit thick. This may be the other reason why it was on clearance for no more than $6 at Walgreens.

Since I have created this travel kit with all that I need it will be a breeze packing for my next trip. You can also check on my Instagram icon to the right of the screen for more photos I captured while in Boston.
